Sebastian Giugovaz

As an aspiring filmmaker based in both Miami, FL and New York City, I strive to create purposeful and captivating narratives that connect with audiences. Currently a senior at Fordham University studying Visual Arts with a double minor in Marketing and Film & Television, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to my work.

My experience spans in video production, photography, post-production, and graphic design, working with organizations like WFUV Public Radio, Photoplay, and Brooklyn Made to create engaging visuals. Familiar with Canon EOS and Fujifilm systems, I have hands-on experience with professional audio and lighting setups, and over 7 years of experience with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida to Italian parents, I grew up in a melting pot of cultures, languages, and traditions. This exposure to diverse influences has profoundly shaped my identity and the way I see the world. It's also what drives my storytelling- capturing moments, emotions, and experiences that resonate universally. My work is defined by its versatility—ranging from short-form branded content, to editorial pieces, or experimental films. Whether crafting strategic, high-impact visuals for advertising or exploring abstract, emotion-driven narratives, I thrive on pushing creative boundaries. My reverence for nature often finds its way into my work, influencing both my aesthetic and thematic choices.

Whether through cinematography, photography, or writing, I strive to highlight the beauty, fragility, and power of our surroundings. My goal is to create content that not only speaks to audiences but also fosters a sense of connection to one another and to the world around us.
